Permanent full-time position with a rotating weekday schedule, in a hybrid telecommuting/office mode. 

Your role : 

Monitor the TV service and ensure its proper functioning;

• Diagnose breakdowns and alarms related to the TV service;
• Take action to minimize the impact of breakdowns and maintenance;
• Promptly communicate and document breakdowns and maintenance;
• Manage the content of the service and video on demand;
• Ensure the quality of TV applications by preparing, automating, executing and documenting tests and their results;
• Participate in development projects;
• Configure TV service related systems and monitoring platforms;
• Share and transfer knowledge between system and network technicians and technical support;
• Provide level 2 and 3 support to technical support.

Your profile: 

• DEC in computer science or any related field, or relevant experience (in network, system or video application administration, or as a technical support agent, for example);
• Knowledge of the Linux environment;
• Knowledge of network and video monitoring and diagnostic tools is an asset (Libre NMS, Zabbix, TSReader, Wireshark);
• Knowledge of office and collaboration software (MS Office, Jira, Gitlab);
• Experience with XML, JSON, Python (asset);
• Bilingualism (French, English) in order to interact effectively with suppliers;
• Rigor and excellent observation skills; 
• Good analytical and technical problem solving skills;
• Good listening and communication skills.

Your role : Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for configuring and testing returned devices. More specifically, you will :

• Analyze the path of the devices and determine if the device is reusable or not;
• Test non-deployed versions at home to identify bugs that need to be fixed before the final versions are deployed;
• Test the different devices: Modem, router, telephone adapter, television box or any other device sold by EBOX according to the test battery requested;
• To carry out the configuration of various devices: Modem, router, telephone adapter, television box or any other device sold by EBOX;
• Assist, if needed, the warehouse staff during the reception of stocks;
• Assist, if needed, the warehouse staff in assigning the different devices to the customer accounts;
• Perform any other related duties consistent with your abilities.
