Setting up your equipment

The way your equipment is connected varies depending on the type of technology and your bandwidth. To determine your type of technology and bandwidth, check your invoice:

Subscribed to cable Internet service without a phone line

To connect your equipment, start by screwing the cable wire onto the modem.

Then plug one end of the Ethernet wire provided into your modem’s LAN port and plug the other end into the router’s WAN port.

Then, connect the router’s power supply to a power source.

Lastly, connect the modem’s power supply to the power  source.

That’s it! Your equipment is all set up!

Subscribed to cable Internet service of less than 100 Mbps with a phone line

To connect your equipment, start by screwing the cable wire onto the modem.

Then plug one end of the Ethernet wire into the LAN port of your modem. Connect the other end of the Ethernet wire to the WAN port of your phone adapter (Mediatrix or Grandstream).

You will now need a second Ethernet wire. Plug one end of the wire into the LAN port of your phone adapter. Then plug the other end into your router’s WAN port.

Connect your phone to the phone adapter using the standard phone wire.

Then, connect the router’s power supply to the source.

Lastly, connect your modem’s power supply to a power source.

There you are! Your equipment is all set up!

Subscribed to cable internet service of more than 100 Mbps with a phone line

To connect your equipment, start by screwing the cable wire on the modem.

Then plug one end of the Ethernet wire into the LAN port of your modem. Plug the other end of the Ethernet wire into your router’s WAN port.

You will now need a second Ethernet cable. Connect one end of the wire into your router’s LAN port and the other end into the WAN port of your phone adapter (Mediatrix or Grandstream).

Connect your phone to the phone adapter using the standard phone wire.

Then, connect your  router’s power supply to a power source.

Lastly, connect your modem’s power supply to a power source.

You did it! Your equipment is all set up!

DSL/FTTN subscribers

To set up your modem, insert one end of the wire into the phone jack. Insert the other end of the wire into the LAN port of your modem.

Then, connect your modem’s power supply to a power source.

That’s it! You’re ready to go!
